I See Blind
Take this pain from whence it came
Long winding road that lies beneath the warrior’s eye
Try and try, but we both know that there is more
We take our full force and break like leaves upon the shore
More, More! This exquisite test of human frailty sells me.
Rape me, torture me, and impale me! My wits, this time, my hope, will never fail me
Upon the scenic river, we turn our visions to a slanderous gray
Upon this day, we are men, and our convictions do not stray
Upon this moment in time, the blind fade with eyes as wide as the sea
And I agree, there’s nothing new, nothing that holds true, no me, no us, no you
I’m alive! Oh yes! I’m alive….so I seek to help with knowledge gained.
You have a passion for humanity, but you realize the world around you hasn’t changed.
These barren plains that reside in the mind of those you hold high.
From the inscription, through conviction, They couldn’t find a place for water to reside.
Can I be a guide, when the hands I hold are brittle and worn?
Lose yourself, everything else, and my wings will shelter you through this storm.

Whomever You May Be
Whomever you may be
There was a woman who was dear to me; a woman, who made
life very clear to me
And I love her, that woman, whomever she may be.
From France to New York City to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea,
my love will never end
Whoever you may be.
Let my words take flight, an impression better than
Picasso or Van Gogh’s Starry Night
I’ll never let go, I’ll win this fight, this is a day to
make things right.
Whomever you may be.
You take my heart and make things brand new, from the
start, you had my heart
And my love burns true. You, my queen, to describe what
you mean to me, the world around me
The air I breathe, I love you!
Whomever you may be
Let this feeling ease, let take hold of each other and
show them what love means.
No problems, no pain, no sorrow, just us, two lovers in
the breeze, Yes come with me my soul,
Whomever you may be

WHY
WHY
We prance, we dance,
we evade…. we sing, we laugh, we cry over the mundane
Why does this hope
feel like a precarious cliff, why does it feel like I’m fulfilling the “ifs”
Why darling, why, did
this love find its way home? And since love’s been gone, has it weakened? Has
it grown?
Eternal we’ll last,
time has no hold on us. It was us before it begun, we’re whole, when together
we’re one.
I’m determined to
write myself upon thy soul. To build you, mold you, back to the old you. Trust
in me my dear, my direction is unblemished. I encourage you to enjoy life, and
have the things that you relish.
It’s time for a new
dawn, a new view, time for you to see colors in different hues. It’s time to
make a choice, and you know what to choose…To see that smile I hold so dearly, to look
forward, to a new you…

A Cure So Easy
A Cure So Easy
I’m in need, in need of hope
I cannot cling to the first thing I see
Because a cure so easy, is not for me
Through a meticulous search, I head in the right direction
In tow, not a foe, but the right protection
What I neglect to put first is what I need the most
Please save me from myself I need a Heavenly Host.
I’m in need, in need of hope
I cannot cling to the first thing I see
Because a cure so easy, is not for me
Swaying like a boat tossed in the midst of a storm
Filled with my own deception, I’m swallowed by youth
Through time and enough grace, I’m sent back on my stroll
With enough armor and weapons to protect my soul.
I’m in need, in need of hope
I cannot cling to the first thing I see
Because a cure so easy, is not for me
I cannot cry or shed a tear, this harvest is mine
I know that the healing will come in time
Longsuffering a stretch, to persevere through pain
These tribulations build character, just call His name!
Jesus, I need you to be my hope
Jesus, I have the faith that’s desired of most
Jesus, I thank you because you died for me
Your grace, your grace Lord is enough for me
Jesus, I need you so the joy can last
Jesus, I thank you for forgiving my past
Jesus, walk with me and guide my way
Jesus, I praise your name today!

Blue Eyes
Blue Eyes
This special
day, how do I describe...the depth, the voice, the love I see…In those blue
eyes
The
conveyance of happiness, joy, affection, and hope, yes I see the hope.
No need to
worry this day darlin’, it yours… whatever
those blue eyes decide
You rule this
day, it’s your design.
Is it heaven
this time, pretty blue eyes? Or will you enjoy the world; I guess we’ll find
out in time.
So here’s a toast, to whatever
you desire, your gaze that I admire can set the world on fire.
I can only
imagine the reflection, in those pretty blue eyes…the emotion
when they’re wet
The clarity
when they’re dry.
Please don’t
ask, because I cannot deny
Anything that
is requested…by those
pretty blue eyes.
Creativity Peaks
Creativity peaks
Creativity peaks as these malnourished breathe their underwater life stream.
A dream with highs and lows twist and turns burns in the eyes of those who sin.
Fellow kin analyze the friendly skies as I watch mythical creatures fly by.
One says “ride the blue stallion”, so I board.... and we cascade away deep in these
Dark mountain caves where servants become masters and rich men become slaves.
Poets hang graven images from their walls and our steps for mankind won’t faze them at all.
So as I burrow down in this hurt and sullen town, I seek the things which we lost… they’re now found.
Someday the world will quote me as the one who freed the children’s sound.
The one found, those who once frowned, grieved, been imprisoned, but now are unbound.
Time capsules are overflowing, and only way to stop where we are heading is to determine where we’re going.
The metropolitan of heaven is descending and fast growing. In other words we let go of the things we
cherish and love holdin’. Silence is a sickness, but they say it’s golden. So I repent and Lord I apologize,
and ask that you still open up the skies and see the real me and know what I left behind was a disguise.....
