A Cure So Easy

A Cure So Easy

I’m in need, in need of hope
I cannot cling to the first thing I see
Because a cure so easy, is not for me

Through a meticulous search, I head in the right direction
In tow, not a foe, but the right protection
What I neglect to put first is what I need the most
Please save me from myself I need a Heavenly Host.

I’m in need, in need of hope
I cannot cling to the first thing I see
Because a cure so easy, is not for me

Swaying like a boat tossed in the midst of a storm
Filled with my own deception, I’m swallowed by youth
Through time and enough grace, I’m sent back on my stroll
With enough armor and weapons to protect my soul.

I’m in need, in need of hope
I cannot cling to the first thing I see
Because a cure so easy, is not for me

I cannot cry or shed a tear, this harvest is mine
I know that the healing will come in time
Longsuffering a stretch, to persevere through pain
These tribulations build character, just call His name!
Jesus, I need you to be my hope
Jesus, I have the faith that’s desired of most
Jesus, I thank you because you died for me
Your grace, your grace Lord is enough for me
Jesus, I need you so the joy can last
Jesus, I thank you for forgiving my past
Jesus, walk with me and guide my way
Jesus, I praise your name today!

Blue Eyes

Blue Eyes
This special day, how do I describe...the depth, the voice, the love I seeIn those blue eyes
The conveyance of happiness, joy, affection, and hope, yes I see the hope.
No need to worry this day darlin’, it yours whatever those blue eyes decide
You rule this day, it’s your design.
Is it heaven this time, pretty blue eyes? Or will you enjoy the world; I guess we’ll find out in time.
So here’s a toast, to whatever you desire, your gaze that I admire can set the world on fire.
I can only imagine the reflection, in those pretty blue eyesthe emotion when they’re wet
The clarity when they’re dry.
Please don’t ask, because I cannot deny
Anything that is requestedby those pretty blue eyes.

Creativity Peaks

Creativity peaks

Creativity peaks as these malnourished breathe their underwater life stream.

A dream with highs and lows twist and turns burns in the eyes of those who sin.

Fellow kin analyze the friendly skies as I watch mythical creatures fly by.

One says “ride the blue stallion”, so I board.... and we cascade away deep in these

Dark mountain caves where servants become masters and rich men become slaves.

Poets hang graven images from their walls and our steps for mankind won’t faze them at all.

So as I burrow down in this hurt and sullen town, I seek the things which we lost… they’re now found.

Someday the world will quote me as the one who freed the children’s sound.

The one found, those who once frowned, grieved, been imprisoned, but now are unbound.

Time capsules are overflowing, and only way to stop where we are heading is to determine where we’re going.

The metropolitan of heaven is descending and fast growing. In other words we let go of the things we

cherish and love holdin’. Silence is a sickness, but they say it’s golden. So I repent and Lord I apologize,

and ask that you still open up the skies and see the real me and know what I left behind was a disguise.....

No More

No More

Feigning lost until/my misguided mind

Till I’m found to be/more than a waste of time

Take a simple breath/it’s my final step

Can’t pretend no more/I have nothing left

Were a height to me/a brand new drug

Depth of everything/everything I loved

Now you’re dead to me/your words are raw

The idea of you/burns me to the core

No more, I can’t touch you/no more, I can’t trust you

No more, I can’t love you/no more, I can’t fuck you

No more, I can’t hear you/ No more, I won’t fear you

No more, I don’t need you/No more, I can’t feed you

My whole life I’ve strived/ Just to right the wrong

I can’t be with you/ But I can’t be alone

Damn this ache in me/ Damn the words you say

Cause your actions speak/ Loud and clear as day

It’s all over now/ cause the love is gone

I can’t care for you/ I can’t care at all

There’s no vacancy/ There’s no place in me

I can’t hurt again/ stay away from ME!

No more, I can’t touch you/no more, I can’t trust you

No more, I can’t love you/no more, I can’t fuck you

No more, I can’t hear you/ No more, I won’t fear you

No more, I don’t need you/No more, I can’t feed you

As Time passes my heart seems to melt awaythe tender moments that we have
Seem like fantasies, silhouettes of what should be real.
You have mewholeheartedly; a love so surprising it startled me,
Hoping the right thing is to eventually make you a part of me.
The first time I’ve ever been outspokenyour gaze in which Im amazed,
Leaves me vulnerable and open. Knowing you can mend that which was once broken.
And we can lead each other away as time passes through timeline after lineheavy breathing and feeling your heart beat the same rhythm as mine.
Let me hear your voice calling mebetter yet, let me sense your soul yearn for me
As I feel your body burn for meBabyI look into your eyes and see eternity.
Love is so simple if you just let love go,
So I put my trust in you, anticipating what love might do.
A sensation of wonderthe only term to describeas I lay there beside you
And we watch the sun rise.
Let me leave you with a thought, maybe the simplest plan,
Give me a chance to comfort you and make life that grand.
We can stand at the doorway where faith won’t land,
And I can be that love, that life, that man.

The Talk

“The Talk”

My paradise is lost, so in turn, I acclimate to my prison
All this time, there’s a vessel in my life that’s missing
In the crimson cascade I see the world’s parade
These life leeches that help move along the minds decay
An array of souls who mimic all the sights and sounds
Whom altogether, feel alone when the lights go down
If it sounds profound, then I implore you to listen
If nothing, I pray you understand my mission
Tradition hasn’t done much but cause me despair
Single file, down the lonely road of “I don’t care”
Devoid of any hopes, worries, or dreams I walk….
But I hold illusions reality by the seams
The schemes of a foreign mind; a brutal design
A calamity that’s been looted and confused by time
My sanity is slipping, eternity is eating me whole
I need one more moment of levity…to achieve my goals.

When I See Through

When I See Through

I know more than I suppose so I thank my visions,

Everything you hide away from me begins to force a decision,

Out of sight, out of mind, doesn’t mean out of the picture,

Rather than saying what I really feel I’ll revert to scripture,

“Whatever’s done in the dark must come to the light”

Even when you tell me, “Everything’s all right”.

Please, don’t force me to dig in the dirt

To uncover the lies, rumors, and truths that hurt.

You were suppose to be my friend, my lover, my pleasure

What kind of value do you have to betray that treasure?

You’re supposed to be strong, while I’m not there

But I realize I’ve been mistaken, because you’re not there

What remains is a shell of who you used to be

The fires been burned out and now you’re losing me

This is my last plea, last attempt, to salvage what’s lost

You need to know, and once known, you’ll understand the cost.
